English Language Professionals

The Language House was established in 1997 by language graduates Sean and Mitsuko Tyrer. A Modern Languages graduate of Oxford University, Sean Tyrer overseas the planning, content and monitoring of each language programme. Mitsuko Tyrer is a language graduate of Keisen University in Japan and has considerable experience in assisting non-native English language learners in consolidating their skills.

The Language House is proud to be recognised by the Irish Department of Education and Science for the teaching of English as a foreign language.

Tailored English Language Programmes

Our programmes are devised uniquely in the case of each company for individuals and groups. Classes are conducted in Closed Groups (members of your company only). A detailed Needs Analysis completed by each company forms the basis of our initial programme planning. During the programme, assessment and monitoring are conducted regularly by Tutors and Director, and written reports provided as required.

Programmes comprise from a minimum of two hours weekly to a full immersion course as required and take place at our city centre premises throughout the working day. Programmes are also run at weekends.
