GENERAL INFORMATION
Intensive Italian and Superintensive Language Courses

Courses begin every Monday (except Public Holidays) |

Classes have an average of 8-10 students and a maximum of 14 |

Afternoon Speaking classes on our popular Intensive Course - Speaking IS26 are typically small, with just 3-5 students. |

Each type of course is offered at all levels, except Beginners |

Each lesson lasts 50 minutes |

Classes are conducted daily by two different teachers, one for Reading and Writing and one for Speaking and Listening. This is an excellent method to speed up progress and allow more varied exposure to English |
Continuous Assessment
The best way to find out how much your English is improving is through regular assessment. Attendance, participation and testing will form the basis of your actual progress. Our Director of Studies holds regular meetings with your teachers to ensure that course targets are being met and that students are given the greatest possible chance to improve their English skills as rapidly as possible.
Some students progress more quickly or slowly than others, but on average it takes two months to advance from one level to the next.

Our Teachers
All our teachers are University graduates with further qualifications specifically in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. They have often extremely wide experience in teaching English both overseas and in Ireland and have a genuine passion for language teaching.
All teachers at our School are committed to ensuring that you make as much progress as possible during your time with us. They are all friendly and welcoming and work as hard as they can to ensure that you remain motivated and excited by all your classroom activities.
Certificate
At the end of your course you will receive The Language House School of English Certificate, showing the level of English you have attained and giving details of the course chosen and completed.
Your Certificate provides you with valuable evidence of your skills in using the English Language for personal, academic and professional purposes.
