IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and the Cambridge Examinations are respected and accepted by institutions and employers worldwide as evidence of your competence in English language usage.

We also provide training for the increasingly popular TIE (Test of Interactive English). This is an international EFL exam developed in Ireland by a group of Irish English language professionals under the aegis of the Advisory Council for English Language Schools (ACELS), a government agency responsible for quality assurance in English language teaching. TIE can be taken by students on either short or long courses in Ireland as well as abroad. The grading system directly follows the Council of Europe Scale of Language Proficiency. TIE is also eligible as an end of academic year examination for students studying for a minimum of 25 weeks or more in Ireland on our Academic Year Courses A25 / A40.

Methodology

Effective combination of Interactive Communicative Approach and Structural Approach, with genuine past exam papers and authentic exam preparation materials introduced.

Summary

This course is a demanding programme of study, and the wide-ranging scope of the language analysis involved ensures an enjoyable and rewarding course of English study.  While we recommend a full twelve-week term for this course, we are prepared to accept students for shorter periods depending on their level and particular educational situation.
