Content

Alongside a fun-filled, active social programme, these valuable and enjoyable classes draw on a wide range of topics (current affairs, communication for work skills, general discussion) to enhance your conversation and pronunciation skills in a stimulating way.

Your teacher will guide you through the many ways in which you can express your ideas, thoughts and feelings about the topics raised, with particular attention paid to 'register' and situational language i.e. the tailoring of your spoken language to meet the needs of different formal and informal situations.

Methodology

Highly effective combination of Interactive Communicative Approach (emphasis on processes of communication, and especially in afternoon classes) and Structural Approach (breakdown of language into grammatical units to re-inforce practical usage). The active Social Programme experiences can form useful supplementary material for exploration in the classroom.

Summary

An excellent combination course designed for people looking to increase all-round language skills with special focus on speaking and pronunciation skills. Your social activities programme on this Summer course is busy, and is filled with exciting events and visits 5 days each week.
